Ticoplinae (= Nanomutillinae Suárez, 1975 ) is a subfamily of German female ( Velvet ants , Velvet ants) from the family Mutillidae of Hymenoptera .

Distribution
There are 4 genera and 6 species in the Palearctic. In Europe, 4 species.
Systematics
Consists of 2 tribes. It was originally established as a subfamily of Ticoplinae in the family of wasps Hetrogynidae ( Heterogynaidae according to the decision of the ICZN ) for the genus described only by males (= Ticopla Nagy, 1970 , and in 1975 it was transferred to the Mutillidae family (Brothers, 1975) with the addition of three more genera. and the genus Nanomutilla André, 1900 was allocated to its subfamily Nanomutillinae (Suarez, 1975). The final composition of the group today is established in 2002. [1]
