Northern Kings is a Finnish symphonic power metal band. It was founded in 2007 . The initiators of the creation of the group were Marco Hietala ( Nightwish , Tarot ) and Tony Kakko ( Sonata Arctica )

History
The group performs cover versions of pop hits of the 80s.
The band’s first step was a cover video posted on the Internet for Tina Turner ’s song “We Don't Need Another Hero”. This was followed by the release of two singles: “We Don't Need Another Hero” and “Hello”.
On October 31, 2007, the first full-length album of the Reborn group was released, which was sold in Finland with a circulation of over 15,000 copies, which means the album’s “golden” status.
In 2008, after such a success of their first album, Northern Kings recorded their second album, Rethroned , which also sold well in Finland.
On August 25, 2010, the single “Lapponia” was released. For 2011-2012, it is planned to release a new album on which there will be original compositions.
