Biography

Alexander Bazilyuk was born in the city of Chapaevsk in the Samara region .

Father, Bazilyuk Filimon Semenovich ( 1911 - 1992 ), is a chemical engineer, born in the Zhytomyr province , the village of Velika Tsvilya. Mother, Mayorova Evdokia Leontyevna ( 1917 - 1997 ) - a native of Simbirsk province.

He lived in Donetsk since 1971. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosova , where he studied at graduate school ( 1966 - 1969 ) and doctoral studies ( 1987 - 1989 ). Associate professor, candidate of philosophical sciences, author of a number of books and articles on sociology and social philosophy. Over a quarter century, he taught at Donetsk State University .

Since 1971 - Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy of Donetsk State University.

Since 1974 - member of the CPSU . In May 1992, he created the Civil Congress of Ukraine, subsequently renamed the Slavic Party . The head of the "Congress of Russian Organizations of Ukraine" (since 1996 ), one of the founders of the " Union of Orthodox Citizens of Ukraine ".

From July 1995 to July 1998 , he was a member of the Council of Compatriots at the State Duma of Russia .

He ran for the 1999 presidential election (received 0.14% of the vote) and 2004 [1] (0.03%). He was a delegate to the First Severodonetsk Congress (November 2004 ).

At the 18th Congress of the Slavic Party (April 2010 ), he retired due to illness and was elected "honorary chairman."

The author of the monograph "The Social Philosophy of Neo-Marxism" (1989).

He was fluent in German, English, Italian and French.

Wife Bazilyuk (Kosenok) Svetlana Sergeevna, philologist, teacher of English and French. Children - Pavel, Ksenia, Anastasia and Alexandra.

He died on February 25, 2012 after a serious and prolonged illness [2] .
