History
On November 30, 2008, the first concert of the Khaki group took place. At the beginning of 2009 - the first recording in the studios "Vintage" (Moscow) and "Melody" (St. Petersburg): sound producers Oleg Baranov and Andrei Samsonov. Mastering the tracks "Special Agents" and "Let Go" was performed by the legendary New York sound engineer George Marino, who worked on many successful albums Metallica , U2 , Led Zeppelin , A-Ha , Coldplay and other famous musicians. "Secret" fell into the hands of his no less eminent colleague, Englishman Mick Marsh.
In the spring of 2009, the shooting of the debut video “Khaki” for the song “Let go” took place. Cameraman Marat Adelshin. A few weeks after the start of the song’s rotation on the radio, on May 20, 2009 the premiere of the “Let go” clip on the MUZ-TV channel took place. In June, the video “Let go” entered the rotation on the music channel “ RU-TV ”. The group was noticed by the producers of the television series “ Univer ” and “ Ranetki ” and was invited to take part in the recording of soundtracks, and in several episodes of “Khaki” they even played themselves. The experience of televisions later came in handy for the group during the game “Mafia” on “ MUZ-TV ” on November 4, 2009 and on the set of the TV show “ Comedy Club ” on January 7, 2010.
In early summer 2009, the group released the demo single “Mystery”, which included three songs and a video. The circulation of 30 thousand copies was sold instantly. The first lucky owners were the audience of the Perm festival " Rock-line ", as well as spectators and participants of numerous festivals and concerts in different cities, in which the "Hacks" managed to visit in the summer of 2009.
On July 4, 2009, the group performed at the 11th St. Petersburg Beer and Kvass Festival. August 1, 2009 - performance at the festival of beer and kvass “Baltic - Russia!” In Yaroslavl.
In August 2009, in the vicinity of Vyborg, a video clip was shot for the song “Falling Down” [1] with the participation of the star “ Laughter without rules ” and “ Slaughter League ” Smirnyaga [2] . For filming, the musicians invited well-known music video masters from Finland, director Misko Iho and cameraman Yuge Heikkilaa. In the fall, the clip “Falling” could already be seen on the TV channels “ MUZ-TV ” and “ RU-TV ”. The video for the new composition “Deja Vu” [3] was filmed by director Alexander Solokha and cameraman Vlad Opelyants. Filming took place only one day. To participate in the video “Khaki” they invited Yulia Lysenko to the VJ channel “ RU-TV ”.
On November 14, 2009, Khaki performed in Luzhniki before the soccer match of the 2010 World Cup qualifying round at a concert in support of the Russian national team. The concert was also attended by the group " Umaturman ", " Agatha Christie ." [4] On the same day, the song "Deja Vu" entered the rotation on the radio. And on December 4, the premiere of the video “Deja Vu” on the TV channel “ RU-TV ” took place. The song was appreciated by the DJs: in the very first weeks of the rotation, several dance remixes appeared.
On December 25, 2009, Khaki performed at a party dedicated to the 18th anniversary of Radio Maximum at Milk Moscow Club.
On March 5, 2010, the group published its official Internet single, “Love is in the Pocket,” and the title track of the single entered the radio rotation.
March 13, 2010 the group took part in the first dance festival "Russian Dance", hosted by Radio DFM in the club Milk Moscow.
