Biography
She was born on January 1, 1957 at the military base Sandia in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, in the family of a retired colonel (who later became the owner of a solar energy company) and a housewife mother. He has four siblings. Thanks to her family’s army moves, she lived in Hawaii , Kansas , Virginia , Maryland , Thailand, and again in Albuquerque.
Madolin began to play as a minor actress. She studied at the University of Southern California with a degree in musical actress (musical comedy). Her first performance was the musical “ Oklahoma! »With fellow student LeVar (Roots) Burton. Madolin paid for her education by working as a waitress. In senior courses, Madolin won the Jack Nicholson Drama Scholarship dramatic scholarship.
Madolin played at the University of Southern California when local theater instructor, John Houzman, (John Houseman) (“The Paper Chase”) persuaded Jim Bridges, the Urban Cowboy director, to watch Madolin's performance on campus in the play by William Shakespeare “It's All Right ends well. "
