Location
Located in the Kara Sea between the islands of Komsomolets and Pioneer at a distance of 8.3 kilometers from Cape Open on the island of Komsomolets and 5.5 kilometers from Cape Kholmistoi on the island of Pioneer. 5 kilometers east of Povorodniy, the Junior Strait begins, dividing the islands of Komsomolets and Pioner, and to the north - Kovalevskaya Bay .
Description
It has a narrow shape stretching from the north-west to the south-east about 1.5 kilometers long and up to 350 meters wide. In the southern part of the island - a small elevation with a height of 21 meters. The western coast is steep, 5 meters high, the eastern one is flat. There are no rivers and lakes . Free from ice.
