Kochkarka [1] - a river in the Plast district of the Chelyabinsk region of Russia . The right tributary of the Kabanka river ( Tobol basin). Length - 11 km. Width - up to 3 m.

The source is south of the abolished village of Stafeevo. It flows into the Kabanka river near the village of Kochkar [1] .
There is one small influx.
On Kochkarka there is a reservoir [2] for feeding the city of Plast . In some places the river is drying up.
Title
In the sources, the name is written in the form of Kachkar, Kochkar. The word is basically Turkic, goes back to the common masculine name Koshkar, Kuskar, Kochkar, Kushkar - "tribal ram." The name reflects the pet cult in the past. The same origin and name.
