History
Entered the album "Wild Thing" (2009), recorded by a singer in Canada with former compatriot Kirill Shirokov . The idea of the song - writing a letter to yourself in the past (in 1978) is somewhat reminiscent of the song of the American country singer Brad Paisley Letter To Me. But at the same time, the “Letter” is deeply autobiographical, echoes the moments of the singer's life - “persuade the father to go to the doctor, and maybe he will be able to save him” [1] .
In September 2009, the song falls into the rotation of many Russian radio stations, at the same time the premiere of the song took place in the charts " Chart Dozen " on "Our Radio" , where it has been a leader for several months in a row.
December 19, 2009 "Letter" was heard throughout the country in the live television game What? Where? When?
In March 2010, Maxim Leonidov receives for the song “Letter” the annual Charta Dozen award in the nomination “Poetry” [2]
