Construction History
Enlisted in the lists of ships of the Navy of the USSR on May 30, 1969 . June 13 of the same year, laid at the Novo-Admiralty Shipyard in Leningrad . March 23, 1971 launched. From March to June of the same year, mooring trials took place, during which the reactor was also physically launched. September 15, 1971 came into operation.
Service History
October 27, 1971 enlisted in the 3rd division of the 1st flotilla of submarines of the Red Banner Northern Fleet . July 25, 1977 reclassified to large submarine.
In 1981, it was transferred to the 11th FLPL, in 1982 to the 17th division, and in 1983 to the 3rd division of the same flotilla. From June 1990 to March 1992, an average repair was carried out at the SRZ-10 in Pala Bay. June 3, 1992 renamed B-438. August 4, 1995 expelled from the Navy.
