Magnus Moan ( Norwegian Magnus Hovdal Moan born in August 26, 1983 in Lillehammer ) - the famous Norwegian wrestler , 2014 Olympic champion in the relay, world champion in 2005, winner of the World Cup.

In the World Cup, Moan made his debut in 2003 , in January 2004, won his first victory at the World Cup stage, in the sprint. In total for today has 17 victories at stages of the World Cup, all in personal competitions. The best achievement in the final standings of the World Cup for Moana are 2nd places in the seasons 2005-06 and 2008-09.

At the 2006 Olympics in Turin, he won two medals, silver in the sprint and bronze in the individual race.

At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, he became the 5th in the team, besides he took the 9th place in the competition from the normal springboard + 10 km, and the 15th place in the competition from the large springboard + 10 km.

At the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, he became the champion in the relay, besides he won 2nd place in competitions from a large springboard + 10 km.

During his career, he participated in six world championships , won gold in the team at the 2005 World Championships in German Oberstdorf , besides he has four silver and five bronze medals at the World Championships.
