Biography
Dundar Aliosman was born in 1930 in Damascus in the family of Mehmet Abdulkerim Effendi , the second child and only son of Mehmet Selim Effendi , and his wife Nimet Hanim. Dundar's father was in exile with other members of the Dynasty . Dundar's parents divorced when he was not even a year old, and the boy stayed with his mother in Syria, and his father left for New York , where he died in 1935 . In addition to Dunadar, Mehmet Abdulkerim had a son Harun-effendi (b. 1932 ), but who his mother is is unknown.
Dundar is married to Yusra Hanym (b. 1927 ), no children.
Since 2017, Dundar has been the head of the Dynasty after the death of Bayazid Osman .
