Feature

Gon has an impressive appetite and strength. He is able to raise many animals, which are several times larger than him, and is able to stand on his jaws, holding his whole body in weight. His scales are also durable, which gives him the opportunity not to think about the bites of many predators.

Often, Gon’s actions are thoughtless: for example, he can go on an adventure without blindly noticing dangers (for example, for weeks without noticing an eagle’s nest on his head). On the other hand, Ghosn sometimes shows miracles of cunning and tactics (for example, using a lion as a pack animal for its own purposes).

In Tekken 3, Ghosn got the ability to "spoil the air" and breathe fire. For voicing his voice were taken sounds made by raccoons.

Manga

In the manga, Gon survived the extinction of dinosaurs and is trying to live with people. Masashi Tanaka (creator of Gon) said:

This work does not contain dialog boxes or onomatopoeic words. People always ask me why I did this. From the very beginning, I did not think that it would be necessary. Manga should be without grammar. I also think it is strange to give a person the language of animals and make him speak it. The goal of what I decided to do with Gon was to create something more interesting than anything you could say in words. Manga still has great potential that does not exist in other media. I plan to continue working using the art of expression.

Gon's adventures are usually comedic and focused around the environment. The manga heads are very loosely connected. Ghosn appears in different countries and interacts with their fauna in almost every issue. He is often portrayed as a quick-tempered, but kind fellow, offering his help to new friends who are local animals.

Feature Film

Sprite Animation Studios has announced that Moto Sakakibara, the director of The Last Fantasy: Spirits Inside , will direct the production of a feature film based on the manga about Gon. The film was scheduled for release in 2009, but then it was canceled.

In video games

Gon's first appearance in video games occurred in a game of the same name for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System . The game was developed by Tose and released in Japan by Bandai on November 11, 1994. A new Gon game called Gon: Baku Baku Baku Baku Adventure , developed for the Nintendo 3DS exclusively for Japan, was released on June 14, 2012 by Namco Bandai Games .

Gon appears as a guest character in the Tekken 3 fighting game . He is one of two special hidden characters, along with Dr. Boskonovich. You can open it in two ways, the first: defeat it in Tekken Ball mode or by reaching a place in the top three in survival mode; Also, enter “GON” as the initials. He has no motive for participating in the third King of Iron Fist tournament. The gon in the game is depicted wearing a tortoise shell and blue gloves (the tortoise shell is a reference to one of the stories when Gon decided to put on the tortoise shell he found). He is the only character in Tekken 3 who has been virtually unaffected by the Ogre fire.

Many fans of the Tekken series asked Katsuhiro Harada to return Gon to Tekken Tag Tournament 2 , but Harada said that he did not have rights to this character and could not include him in the game, as it was in Tekken 3 .
