Lamerto Gardelli (Italian: Lamberto Gardelli , born November 8, 1915 Venice - d. July 17, 1998 Munich ) - Italian conductor.

L. Gardelli studied music at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome with Goffredo Petrassi and Alessandro Bustini . He began his creative activity as an assistant with Tullio Serafin , conducted at that time various Italian orchestras. As an opera conductor he made his debut in 1944 at the Roman Opera , in La Traviata J. Verdi .
From 1946 to 1955 , L. Gardelli was the conductor of the Stockholm Opera. Then from 1955 to 1961 he directed the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. In 1961-65, he was the chief conductor of the Budapest Opera . From 1978 to 1984, Gardelli was at the head of the Berne Opera, from 1982 to 1985 - also an orchestra on Munich Radio. In 1986 - 1989 he again directed the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Repeatedly performed at the Royal Opera and the New York Metropolitan Opera .
L. Gardelli was a repeated participant in the Glyndeborn Opera Festivals . Widely known are the recordings of opera music by L. Gardelli, especially the previously little-known works of Italian opera.
