Biography

Pupil of the Ufa " Salavat Yulaev ." He joined the team at age 6, after meeting his father Nikita and the coach of the children's team. He worked in a team until the age of 15, after which, together with a teammate, they moved to the Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik farm club, from which they were expelled for bad behavior. A friend went to the school of refereeing, and Nikita began to travel to the cities of Russia and look for happiness in other clubs. For six months he visited a viewing in Cherepovets Severstal 2, 1 league , Technologist (Ukhta) based club in Rybinsk 1 league, Voronezh HC Voronezh Premier League, Tambov HC Tambov 1 league Leninogorsk Premier League, Orsk Premier League, and Toros Neftekamsk 1 league. In these teams, he did not stay longer than two weeks, only in HC Tambov and HC Voronezh was a month.

The last chance, Nikita got in the hockey club Metallurg from the city of Serov. The team’s coach — Honored Coach of Russia, Grigory Georgievich Savelyev, discerned a young hockey player and said that with such a game and dedication, in a couple of years, Shield would be able to play in his own Salavat Yulaev.

In 2005, he returned to Ufa, where he made his debut in the Russian Hockey Super League .

In transit through the Neftekamsk Toros , in which he played from 2006 to 2007 , Nikita moved to Neftekhimik, and a year later he moved to Moscow Spartak , in which he took part in the first season of the KHL .

November 12, 2010 was exchanged to the already familiar Neftekhimik for the right to choose in the first round of the draft KHL juniors 2011 . Season 2011/2012 consistently played for the Nizhnekamsk club and was an assistant captain.

May 13, 2012 he returned to Moscow, where he signed a unilateral contract with Spartak, until 2014 .

On May 23, 2013, the rights to Shchitov were sold to Neftekhimik , as a result of which Nikita once again returned to Nizhnekamsk [1] .

On November 2, 2013, as a result of an exchange for Igor Musatov , Nikita Shchitov returned to his native Salavat Yulaev [2] .
