The Limestone is a group of 4 islands in the Laptev Sea in the central part of the Severnaya Zemlya Archipelago ( Russia ). Administratively they refer to the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenetsky District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory .

Located in the central part of the archipelago between the islands of Komsomolets and the October Revolution in the most western part of the strait of the Red Army at the point of its confluence with the Strait of Youth . The islands lie quite close to each other, blocking the entrance to the strait of the Red Army.
Consist of four islands with their own names:
- Big Limestone Island is actually two islands separated by a narrow 300-meter strait. Located at a distance of about 500 meters from the coast of the island Komsomolets. The western island is 6.9 kilometers long and up to 4.1 kilometers wide. East - 4.7 kilometers long and up to 2.75 kilometers wide.
- Brokeback Island - located in the middle of the group, 1.6 kilometers south of the Great Limestone. It has an elongated shape with a length of 1.6 kilometers and a width of up to 700 meters.
- Round Island - the southernmost island of the group. It lies 500 meters from the shores of the island of the October Revolution. It has a round shape with a diameter of just over 1.7 kilometers.
