12 hours of Sebring 2010 is the 58th edition of the legendary auto marathon and the first stage of the 2010 season of the ALMS series . The stage traditionally took place at the Sebring International Raceway in Sebring , USA on the third weekend of March. At the stage, the Le Mans Prototype Challenge class will debut.

Stage Description

The prototype duo LMP1 Peugeot won the race by bringing three laps to its closest pursuer, the Aston Martin Racing crew, earning the company the first victory in Sebring. For the winning crew, there were two existing Le Mans marathon championships - Marc Genet and Alexander Wurz . The third pilot in the crew was Anthony Davidson .
The winner in the LMP2 class, 14 laps behind the winner in the absolute, was the crew of Team Cytosport - having won the race for the first time in their standings.
The winner of the race in the new LMPC class was the crew of Level 5 Motorsports .
Risi Competizione's Ferrari wins its second consecutive half-marathon in Sebring in the GT2 class.
Alex Job Racing , returning to ALMS, wins his first race in the class - they performed in the GTC class.
