Description

Body length 2-4 mm. Antennae 13-segmented in both sexes. Parasitoids use host eggs ( Phasmatodea ) as hosts.

Distribution

Indomali zone , Australia .

Classification

Previously, the genus Loboscelidia Westwood was attributed either to the family of riders Diapriidae ( Proctotrupoidea ) or to the nut growers Cynipidae ( Cynipoidea ) as the tribe Loboscelidiini [1] . In 1961, they were included as an independent family in the composition of betiloid wasps [2] . 2 genera. About 40 species [3] .
