Career

Guillermo Franco holds Argentine and Mexican citizenship. The first club in the professional career of the attacker became the Argentine “San Lorenzo”. For 6 years he managed to play 94 matches in which he scored 23 goals.

In 2002, Franco became a player in the Mexican club Monterrey. The most successful season in this club was the 2002-03 season, in which he scored 15 goals in 16 matches. Guillermo, together with the club " Monterrey " won the championship in Mexico . As part of Monterrey, he played 119 matches and scored 63 goals.

Before the start of the 2006/07 season, Franco moved to Villarreal . In the debut season, the Mexican played 27 matches in the Spanish club, in which he scored only two goals. The following season, a place in the starting lineup was provided to him. In 2009, Guillermo moved to the London club " West Ham ", signing a contract for one year.
