Breed History
Slavic countries are considered the birthplace of dwarf Angora. This is a very old breed of rabbit. Dwarf angora was known in Western Europe as far back as the 15th century .
But there are other versions that dwarf angora rabbits appeared in Southeast Asia . Until the XIX century, this breed did not have worldwide fame, and the rabbits themselves looked different. [one]
Description
The hair of rabbits of this breed grows everywhere - even on the ears . It is a fluff, due to which dwarf angora is compared with dogs , in particular with lapdogs and Pekingese . The mass of such rabbits is from 900 to 1500 grams . Females of this breed give birth to 2-6 babies.
The color of dwarf angora is white (red-eyed and blue-eyed), black, blue, yellow, harbor. In areas with short hair (ears, head and paws), the color looks darker.
