Cosmos-100 is the Soviet Meteor- type experimental meteorological satellite No. 3, launched on December 17, 1965 at 2:24 UTC from the Baikonur cosmodrome by the Vostok-2M 8A92M launch vehicle. Intended for testing the structural elements of satellites of the Meteor series.
