Jonathan Kimble (J.K.) Simmons ( born Jonathan Kimble "JK" Simmons , born January 9, 1955 , Detroit , Michigan , USA ) is an American film and television actor. He is best known for the roles of Dr. Skoda in the series Law and Order , neo-Nazi Schillinger in the HBO prison drama Prison of Oz , J. John Jameson in the Spider-Man movie series and Gaza Pankake Demoman in the Coen Brothers film Gentlemen 's Games . He was awarded numerous awards, including Golden Globe , BAFTA and Oscar for his role as a tyrant conductor in the psychological drama Obsession (2014).

Biography
Simmons was born in 1955 in the family of college teacher Donald Simmons and administrator Patricia Kimble, in addition to him, the couple had two more children [5] [6] . After graduating from school, Jonathan entered the University of Montana [7] . In addition, Simmons worked for a long time in the theater, participated in such productions as Guys and Dolls and Carousel.
In the 1990s, Simmons began acting on television. He became famous after the roles of Dr. Skoda , a police psychiatrist who appeared in the series Law and Order , and a neo-Nazi prisoner in the prison drama Oz .
Simmons also starred in the entire series of films about Spider-Man , where he played the role of J. John Jameson .
Finally, yellow M & M's from the well-known series of advertisements for two dragees spoke in Simmons' voice. John played the role of anti-communist president Howard Ackerman in the video game " Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 " [8] , founder and president of Aperture Science Cave Johnson in the video game Portal 2 and several characters in the animated series The Simpsons .
In 2014, he played the role of an autocratic orchestra conductor in the psychological drama Obsession . Simmons' work has received many awards and the highest ratings of film critics, who considered her one of the strongest in his long career.
In 2015-2016, voiced by Stanford Pines in the animated film " Gravity Falls ." Since 2017, he played the main role in the television series " On the Other Side ".
