Nymburk (ČEZ Basketball Nymburk) is a professional basketball club from the city of Nymburk , Czech Republic . Member of the Czech National Basketball League . For 2011, he is an eight-time league champion. Participates in European basketball tournaments, including the Eurocup and the Adriatic League (season 2010/2011).

History
Team founder Anna Stumpfová sent her sister, Skalicky, to Prague for a week-long basketball training course. In the same year, the women's basketball team Sokol was created. The men's team was not long in coming, and already in 1930 took fourth place in the Czechoslovak championship, two years later they won silver medals. Three years later, the team won the first place in the national championship and held this position for four seasons until the military mobilization began in 1938 .
The first international match was with the Italian team from the city of Trieste .
