Lenka Karfikova ( Czech: Lenka Karfíková ; born February 11, 1963 , Prague ) is a Czech Catholic theologian, philosopher, translator ( Anselm of Canterbury , Hugo Saint-Victor ), and publisher (in the publishing house Ojkumena, of the Fontes Latini Bohemorum series, “Library of medieval tradition”, “Library of early Christian tradition”). He is primarily concerned with medieval theology and philosophy.

She graduated from high school in Prague ( 1977 - 1981 ), Evangelical Theological Faculty named after A. Comenius in Prague ( 1981 - 1986 ), postgraduate studies in theology at the Catholic University of Eichstet (Bavaria; 1989 - 1991 ), École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris ( 1991 - 1992 ) and doctoral studies at the Catholic University in Eichstet ( 1992 - 1996 ).
She defended the work “Infinite God and human life as a path without end” at the Cyril and Methodius Theological Faculty of the University of Palacky in Olomouc, and received a professorship at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague.
While working at the theological faculty of the University. Palacky founded the Center for Work with Patriotic, Medieval and Renaissance Texts in Olomouc, and in 2000-2004 was its director.
