Biography
Born in 1868 in the Kalisberg estate of the Radoshkovichi volost of the Vileika county in a peasant family.
He graduated from teacher seminary in 1884 . People's teacher in the Vilnius province in 1884-1888.
He graduated from the Vilnius Teachers' Institute in 1891 , after which he worked as a teacher in seminary and public schools (1891-1893).
Since 1893 - a student in physics courses for secondary school teachers at St. Petersburg University. Teacher of the Vitebsk Higher Primary School in 1893-1904. Lecturer in physics courses for secondary school teachers at St. Petersburg Universities 1904-1907. Lecturer in physics at the Vitebsk gymnasium and a real school in 1907-1912. Mentor and teacher of physics and mathematics of the Nevelskaya gymnasium and real school in 1912-1915. Teacher of physics and mathematics of secondary schools in Vitebsk (1915-1917).
Head of the Department of Physics of the Mechanical Engineering Institute in Vitebsk (1917-1924) and at the same time headed the Department of Physics at the Agricultural (1917-1922) and Pedagogical (1917-1921) institutes.
Scientific Secretary of the Main Political and Educational Committee of the People's Commissariat of the BSSR in 1924-1925. Assistant professor at the Department of Physics, BSU (1924-1927) and at the same time an assistant professor at the Department of Physics of the Communist University (1924-1927). Head of the Department of Physics, BSU - Belarusian (Minsk) Medical Institute - in 1927-1941.
He was awarded the title of Associate Professor ( 1930 ), the degree of Candidate of Physics and Mathematics ( 1936 ), the Head of the Department of Physics of the Minsk Medical Institute (1944-1945).
The main direction of scientific and practical activity is the improvement of accuracy, sensitivity of physical devices and the development of new devices, including for laboratory studies in physics:
