Content
History
The first emblem of Belozersk appeared on August 16, 1781 .
"The lake , in it there are two sterlets , over these months with a cross" [2]
In the XIX century there was a draft coat of arms Belozersk , compiled by the rules of 1857 .
In a field of azure two crossed silver fish under a silver crescent, at the head on the right is a gold broadened cross with balls at the ends; in the free part of the coat of arms of the Novgorod province . [2]
On May 22, 1970, the second version of the coat of arms of Belozersk was approved. The author of the coat of arms is P. Goryachev [2] .
The shield is divided into two parts. In the top blue field, a sailboat sailing through the waves; in the lower blue field, two crossed golden sterlet and the date " 862 " [2]
The modern version of the emblem was approved on October 12, 2001 , and on September 22, 2002 as the emblem of the Belozersky District .
Description
"In a wavy-crossed blue and silver shield at the top of a golden broadened cross over a silver crescent, below - two crosswise laid silver sterlet with scarlet fins, finely bordered with azure. In the free part - the emblem of the Vologda region " [2]
