Panayotov, Alexander Sergeevich

Childhood

Born on July 1, 1984 in the city of Zaporozhye ^[2] . At the age of 7, he entered the humanitarian class of the multidisciplinary school No. 62 of Zaporozhye; at the age of 9, he first appeared on the school stage with E. Krylatov ’s song “ Beautiful Away .

At the age of 10, he entered the children's music school No. 2 of Zaporizhzhya ZDMSh-No. 2. He studied at the youth vocal studio of popular music “Yunost” under the guidance of the honored cultural worker Vladimir Artemyev (whose pupil is also the singer Alyosha today ) ^[3] .

The first public performance of Alexander Panayotov took place on June 1, 1997 at a concert dedicated to World Children's Day on the central city square of Zaporozhye. He sang a song from the repertoire of the Ukrainian singer Alexander Ponomaryov, “S early to night” (“From morning to night”).

At the age of 15, he performed with his own repertoire at various competitions. The most famous songs are “Ringed Bird” and “Literary Board” (“Summer Rain”). The authors of these songs were also engaged in the studio "Youth".

Kiev

After graduating from secondary and music (with honors ) schools, he entered the Kiev State College of Variety and Circus Arts in the department of pop vocal, but did not finish it because he actively participated in various music competitions ^[2] .

In 2002, he left for Moscow to try his hand at the television project “ Become a Star ”, where he reached the finals ^[2] .

Returning to Kiev , he entered the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts and in the same year created the Alliance group, in which four more musicians participated. ^[2] .

Moscow

In 2003, he participated in the television competition " People's Artist (reality show) ", held on the TV channel " Russia ". In the finals of the competition, he took second place and signed a seven-year contract with producers Eugene Friedland and Kim Breitburg ^[4] .

In the company of the finalists of the contest, he went on an all-Russian tour. In the framework of cooperation with FBI Music, he recorded two albums: Lady of the Rain (2006) and Formula of Love (2010).

Since March 2011, at the end of a seven-year contract with FBI Music, he became an independent artist ^[5] .

Lives and works in Russia, tours in the Russian regions, Ukraine , Belarus , the Baltic states , Israel , the USA , Spain , Germany , France and other EU countries ^[5] .

The single “Till Tomorrow” was premiered on August 31, 2011, and a video clip was released on October 20 ^[5] .

On November 7, 2011, the song “To Sade” was released, dedicated to the singer Sade and her arrival in Russia ^[5] .

February 14, 2012 the premiere of the song "Unreal" ^[5] .

On July 5, 2012, the author's solo program was released, written after the end of the contract. In December 2012, the official release of the DVD concert was released ^[5] .

On September 11, 2013, as part of the Jazz Parking project, Panayotov performed a new solo program at the Moscow club Gipsy ^[5] .

On July 5, 2014, a solo program dedicated to the 30th anniversary was presented on the stage of the Mir concert hall. In October, the official release of the DVD concert was released ^[5] .

On May 6, 2015 Panayotov accompanied by the Oleg Lundstrem orchestra in New York in the UN General Assembly Hall, where a concert was held following the results of the solemn meeting of the UN General Assembly dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II ^[5] .

June 1, 2015 the premiere of the single and the presentation of the video clip "Sami" ^[5] .

July 24, 2015 the premiere of the video clip "I promise" ^[5] .

On September 25, 2015, the premiere of the track and the video “Phone ^[5] ” took place.

On April 8, 2016, the premiere of the track and the video “Invincible” took place ^[5] .

On August 19, 2016 the dance track “Intravenous” was released. The author of the music was Panayotov himself, the text was written in tandem with the vocalist and author of the soloist of the NAOMI group Arina Ritz and the author of texts from Novosibirsk Evgeny Bochkarev ^[5] .

September 23, 2016 appeared on the air of the 5th season of the musical show "Voice" . All the mentors turned to him, Panayotov made a choice in favor of Grigory Leps and became the finalist of the Leps team.

December 30, 2016 took second place in the show, losing in the final to Daria Antonyuk. At the end of the show, he continued cooperation with the mentor and his production center - he signed a partnership agreement with Grigory Leps for a period of 5 years ^[5] .

March 8, 2017 for the first time gave a big recital in Crocus City Hall with the program “Invincible”, and then with this program went on a tour of Russia and neighboring countries ^[5] .

On October 15, 2017, he performed at the opening ceremony of the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, where he performed the song “Extend your hand if you heard a silent call” ^[5]

December 23, 2017 at the Megasport Sports Complex he performed the main male part in Tatyana Navka’s big ice show “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, voicing the role of Ruslan. ^[five]

March 8, 2018 in Crocus City Hall presented his new concert program “Feel You”, which premiered the tracks “Heaven”, “Names”, “Mom, I Fly in a Dream” ^[5] .

June 1, 2018, the premiere of the track "Night on the Clouds", created by Mikhail Gutseriev and Sergey Revtov, took place. This is the first joint work of Alexander and the famous poet. On September 20, 2018, the premiere of the clip for this song took place ^[5]

May 8, 2019, for the Great holiday - Victory Day, Alexander Panayotov presents a new video - “Songs of the war years”! “Let's smoke”, “First thing about airplanes”, “Three years you dreamed about me”, “Dark night” - the artist performed with the legendary Oleg Lundstrem orchestra conducted by Boris Mikhailovich Frumkin ^[5] .

SkyOffice

SkyOffice is a project of Alexander Panayotov, which is based on instrumental chill-out music, written and arranged by the singer himself. SkyOffice also specializes in the production of lounge remixes. So, in 2012 there was a remix of Ivan Dorn ’s song “ Stytsamen ” and Sade 's song “Cherish the day”, which was performed by Panayotov himself.

Since 2005, he has been participating in the selections for the Eurovision song contest, but he has not yet been able to win these selections ^[6] .
