The Berezugsky village settlement is the abolished municipality as part of the Selizharovsky district of the Tver region . On the territory of the settlement there were 37 settlements.

The center of the settlement is the village of Berezug .

It was founded in 2005 and included the territory of the Berezugsky, Diaghilevsky and Drygomsky rural districts.

By the law of Tver region dated April 17, 2017 No. 25-ЗО [1] , through their unification, the municipalities of Berezugskoy, Zakharovskoye , Larionovskoye and Talitskoye rural settlements were transformed into Selizharovskoye rural settlement .

Geographic data

  • Total area: 399,2 km²
  • Finding: the northern part of the Selizharovsky district
    • Borders:
      • in the north - with the Ostashkovsky district , Zhdanovsky joint venture
      • in the east - with the Kuvshinovsky district , the Mogilev joint venture and Sokolnichesky joint venture
      • in the south - with the Bolshekoshinsky joint venture , Talitsky joint venture and Larionovsky joint venture
      • in the west - with the Selishchensky joint venture .

In the south of the settlement there is a railway from Torzhok to Soblago .

Population

According to the 2002 census, the population is 539 people (296 Berezugsky, 127 Diaghilevsky and 116 Drygomsky rural districts).
As of January 1, 2008 - 486 people. According to the 2010 census, there are 442 people.

History

With the formation in 1796 of the Tver province, the territory of the settlement entered the Ostashkov district .

In the 1950s, the Berezugsky, Diaghilevsky and Drygomsky village councils of the Kirov district of the Kalinin region existed on the territory of the settlement.
