Biography
Born May 7, 1937 in Orel . In 1960 he graduated from the Kharkov Theater Institute (workshop of Alexander Serdyuk ). Since 1960 - actor of the Kharkov Theater of Young Spectators . Antonov served in the Youth Theater for almost forty years - playing and staging children's performances, and starred in thirty films in films. The most famous of them are “ Born of the Revolution ”, “The Duma of Kovpak ”, “ Yaroslav the Wise ”.
The first national artist of independent Ukraine [1] , lived in Kharkov, taught at the University of Arts .
He died on July 6, 2017 in Kharkov. Farewell took place on July 7 at 11:00 in the Kharkov Youth Theater [2] .
