The settlement center is Taltsy village.
Established in 2005, it included the territory of the Talitsky rural district.
By the law of Tver region dated April 17, 2017 No. 25-ZO [1] , through their union, the municipalities of Berezugskoye , Zakharovskoye , Larionovskoye and Talitskoe rural settlements were transformed into Selizharovskoye rural settlement .

Former settlements
The villages of Aristovo, Bokovo, Voroshilovka (Knyazhukha), Vyaltsevo, Dor, Kharino and others disappeared on the territory of the settlement.
History
With the formation of the Tver province in 1796, the territory of the settlement entered Ostashkov district (Talitskaya and Selizharovskaya volosts).
In 1929–1935, it entered the Western Region , and from 1935, into the Kalinin Region . In the 1940s and 1950s, Budayevsky (until 1955) and Talitsky village councils of the Kirovsky district (the name of Selizharovsky district in 1936-1963) existed on the territory of the settlement.
