Elaine Cunningham ( born August 12, 1957 ) is an American fantasy and science fiction writer best known for her near-poetic literary style and her contribution to the world of the Forgotten Kingdoms , including the kingdoms of Evermeet, Halroix, Ruafim, and the city of Deep Water [1] [2] [3] (also known as Waterdeep, English Waterdeep ).

The most famous and popular characters of Elaine are Harper half-elf Arilyn Lunar Blade and bard Danila Tann, drow sorceress Liriel Baenre , her lover is a berserker from Rashemen named Fiodor, their enemy Gorlist, Elite "Serpent" Krolnober, Matteo and Tsigoun, Dragon Zz'Pzora.
Cunningham also wrote several pieces from the Star Wars series.
Elaine lives in New England with her husband and two sons.
