Organization

  • 08.20.1798 - in Kostroma, a musketeer major general Berg regiment was formed from a recruit, consisting of 2 battalions of 1 grenadier and 5 musketeer companies in each.
  • 02/07/1800 - the Musketeer Major General Baklanovsky regiment.
  • 03/31/1801 - Ukrainian Musketeer Regiment.
  • 02.22.1811 - Ukrainian Infantry Regiment.
  • 01/28/1833 - the 2nd battalion of the 38th jaeger regiment, the 1st and 3rd battalions of the 40th jaeger regiment were added. Reformed into 6 battalions and named the Ukrainian JΓ€ger Regiment.
  • 03/10/1854 - the 7th and 8th battalions were formed.
  • 1856 - Ukrainian Infantry Regiment.
  • 08/23/1856 - the 4th active battalion was renamed the 4th reserve and assigned to the reserve troops, the 5-8th battalions were disbanded.
  • 04/06/1863 - from the 4th reserve and indefinite release of the 5th and 6th battalions of the Ukrainian regiment, the Ukrainian reserve infantry regiment was formed as part of 2 battalions.
  • 10/13/1863 - The Ukrainian reserve infantry regiment was reorganized into 3 battalions and was called the Samara infantry regiment.
  • 02/25/1864 - the 147th Infantry Samara Regiment.

Combat Campaigns

During the First World War 1914-1918 As part of the 37th Infantry Division of the 18th Army Corps, he participated in the fighting of the 8th and 9th Armies on the Southwestern and Romanian fronts.

Insignia
