Biography
Around 1055 or earlier, Uncle Albrecht Otton I was killed. Otton was the Zemstvo Vogt of Muri, and after his death, his nephew Albrecht II became the new Vogt.
In 1082, Albrecht's father Werner I renounced the county of Habsburg in favor of his sons Otto II and Albrecht, who divided the county among themselves, and he himself began to manage the abbey in Muri .
Otton was killed on November 8, 1111 in Badenheim by a certain nobleman, Hesso von Jusenberg. His brother Albrecht II at that time ruled part of the county of Habsburg, and the territory that Otton owned passed to his son Werner II . Albrecht himself, along with his wife Judent von Ortenburg-Hirlingen, had no children, and when he died in 1140, his nephew Werner II succeeded him.
