Turkish Linguistic Society

The Turkish Linguistic Society ( Turkish : Türk Dil Kurumu, TDK) is a public organization under the Government of the Republic of Turkey , founded with the aim of studying and developing the Turkish language .

Details

The Turkish Linguistic Society was founded on July 12, 1932 by M.K. Atatürk , the original name is Türk Dili Tetkik Cemiyeti (Turkish Society for the Study of Language) .

The Turkish Linguistic Society is engaged in the study of both the Turkish literary language and Turkish dialects, and publishes literature.

The head office is in Ankara . Chairman - Mustafa Sinan Kaçalin.
