University of Palacky ( Czech Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci ; Latin Universitas Palackiana Olomucensis ) - University of Olomouc . The Olomouc University, named after the historian Frantisek Palacki , was founded by the Jesuits in 1573 and is thus the second oldest institution of higher education in the Czech Republic after Charles University .
