Story
A dying man was discovered at Copenhagen Airport with a strange ebola- like illness . He died suddenly. Virologist Soren is extremely concerned about this incident, in addition, all blood tests gave a negative result. It turns out that he flew from Romania , where 36 hours before that a boy had died from an unknown disease with similar symptoms. This is compounded by the fact that Atlanta awaits reports of a man infected with Ebola.
In the meantime, the Copenhagen police are investigating strange arsons; similar cases were reported from Romania: the hospital was set on fire there.
Something strange happened in Copenhagen: at one point all the electricity went out, the cars stopped, the radio did not work.
The body of the deceased is sent to Romania, but Soren wants to take cerebrospinal fluid for analysis. For this, he, together with his girlfriend Sarah, goes to Romania, but it turns out that the man was cremated. Søren visits the hospital where the boy died and finds out that the deceased men and the boy had strange marks on their hands, as if from a bite. Having illegally exhumed the boy’s body and took cerebrospinal fluid, he returns to Denmark. It also turns out that when the boy died, there were power outages in the hospital.
At that time, Danish police are on the trail of the arsonist. It turns out that his name is Vincent Monroe, and he is a follower of the ancient organization prohibited by the Pope in 1946 , preparing to fight against the coming to this world Antichrist . Vincent Monroe contacts Søren and introduces himself as a professor of virology who knows how the mysterious virus spreads. He finds out where there may be another carrier of the virus and comes with her Seren to her home. When trying to kill her, the police arrest him, but they manage to injure her. Vincent argues that this is not a virus, but the Antichrist that dwells in people. His arrival marked the birth of the supernova Stella Mala, which formed a pentagram in the sky, and he passes from person to person, killing the previous carrier. According to him, during such a transition of the Antichrist, interruptions in electricity occur.
Meanwhile, Søren learns the results of the analysis: it turns out that the fluid in the spinal cord in the boy’s body is similar to the cerebrospinal fluid of the animal. At this time, Sarah finds a wounded carrier of the virus in the hospital. She infects Sarah, and she dies.
Taking advantage of the power outages, Vincent escapes from the police and arrives at the hospital. He suspects that Sarah is infected, but when trying to kill her, the police shoot him. Before his death, he informs Seren that Sarah must be burned. Seren has no choice, after a short duel he burns the obsessed Antichrist Sarah, after which he is arrested by the police. It would seem that they managed to stop the Antichrist, albeit at a very high price, but ...
