Komsomolsk ( Bashk. Komsomolsk ) is a village in the Uchalinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan . It is located on the eastern slope of the Arendyk ridge, in the upper reaches of the Uy River, at the foot of the peak of Berkut-tau.

General Description
The village was founded in 1955 as the central estate of the Polyakov State Farm , engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding . The location was chosen on the basis of logistical and administrative considerations, on the Uy River, on the Uchaly - Miass highway, in the immediate vicinity of the Kuramino railway station of the South Ural Railway . Uchaly District Center is 40 km away, while Miass is 60 km away.
Relief and climate
The village is located on the border of the Southern Urals and Trans-Urals. The Irendek and Kumas ranges are the easternmost ranges of the Southern Urals . The relief is rugged, the drop in heights within the village is about 50 m.
History
The village developed as an agricultural, administrative center of the northern part of the Uchalinsky district . Until the late 1980s , gold mining on the Uy River was actively developing. Komsomolsk was actively populated by immigrants from nearby villages, primarily Bashkirs - Tabynians (the Baryn-Tabyn and Kara-Tabyn clans).
