Description
Glitter wasps of small size (4-9 mm). Body puncture double. The third tergite of the abdomen is longer and narrower than that of males. The basal wing of the front wing is strongly curved.
Classification
About 70 species. The genus Chamaeholopyga Linsenmaier, 1987 ( Holopyga (Chamaeholopyga) parvicornis Linsenmaier, 1987 ; Spain) is distinguished in the genus. In Central and Southern Europe, 30 species (in the European part of Russia, 3-4 species).
