Austin Scarlett ( born Austin Scarlett ; born January 1, 1983) is an American fashion designer, known as a participant in the first season of the Project Runway reality show . Lives and works in New York. From 2006 to 2009 He served as Creative Director of the Kenneth Pool brand.

Biography
Austin Scarlett, son of Debra Little and Christopher Scarlett, was born and raised in Oregon. He graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where he specialized in creating evening dresses and received a degree in clothing design [1] .
Austin moved to Los Angeles in 2002, intending to become a costume designer. After living a year in Hollywood , he returned to New York , and in 2004 took part in the first season of Project Runway . It was during this television show that he was noticed for his ability to create luxurious clothes, despite the tight deadlines and unusual requirements of the presenters. He was the last of the participants to be expelled before the final episode of the season [1] .
After Project Runway, Austin released collections under his own name in the fall-spring of 2005-2006. He has also acted as a designer and commentator on MTV , E !, Discovery Channel , Logo, and on NBC’s Today program, and has been featured in ELLE , Life and Style, and Us Weekly [1] .
Participated in charity projects. In January 2006, he got a job in New York as the creative director of the Kenneth Pool brand, where he worked until early 2009.
