About the album
Prior to the release of this album, Redman took part in recording two EPMD tracks on the albums “ Business as Usual ” and “ Business Never Personal ”. Most of the album was produced by Erick Sermon , but Redman himself made an effort to produce tracks.
The album brought great success to Redman, thanks to which Redman became one of the key persons of the '90s. The album debuted at number 49 on the Billboard 200 chart [1] , and earned gold status on June 11, 1993 [2] . According to About.com magazine, the album was included in the list of 100 most successful rap albums [3] , and was hailed by fans as a classic of its genre.
