A long-distance train runs along the longest railway passenger route in the world, passing through the territory of one country and crossing overland almost all of Eurasia. The length of this route is 9,288 kilometers.
Content
History
The history of the country's main train is inextricably linked with the history of the development of Siberia and the Far East and the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway . In 1916, after the construction of the bridge over the Amur River in Khabarovsk was completed , direct passenger service began from Moscow to Vladivostok .
Named train "Russia" went on its first flight September 30, 1966 .
The external color of the cars periodically changed. During the years of the Soviet Union, it was cherry with large metal letters, then red, raspberry, green.
Until 2001, the Rossiya train ran along the main passage of the Trans-Siberian Railway (through Yaroslavl ). From June 2001 to the present, the movement has been carried out along the Gorky route (via Fryazevo , Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod ).
Since 2000, the wagons of the Rossiya train have been painted the color of the Russian flag with a stencil of the coat of arms of Russia .
Until 1993, the train ran daily. With the introduction of the summer schedule in 1993, "Russia" began to go every other day in odd numbers.
Previously, the train had No. 1/2 .

- The Rossiya train is branded year-round, runs every other day departing from Moscow on odd numbers at 23:45 (Moscow time), arriving in Vladivostok on odd numbers at 23:55 (Moscow time), departing from Vladivostok on even numbers at 12:10 (Moscow time), arrival in Moscow on even numbers at 14:13 (Moscow time). If there are two adjacent odd numbers (31, 1), the train will leave Moscow 27, 29, 1, 3, 5 and further on odd numbers, arrival in Vladivostok on 27, 29, 31, 2, 4, 7, 9 and then on odd numbers, departure from Vladivostok on 28, 30, 1, 3, 5, 8, 10 and further on even numbers, arrival in Moscow on 28, 30, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16 and further on even numbers.

Description
Considering the duration of the trip, the cars of the Rossiya branded train provide everything that a passenger may need on the way - refrigerators, microwave ovens, electric stoves, showers, household rooms with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board . Hot meals are delivered in the compartment several times a day (when buying a ticket with meals).
To prevent theft, the compartment doors are equipped with electronic locks, the opening of which is carried out using a personal card with a microchip. For safety reasons, the cars are equipped with video surveillance and automatic fire alarms [2] .
As part of the train, two direct trains run with the message "Moscow - Tumangan ( DPRK )." The transfer is carried out in Ussuriysk to the passenger train No. 651/652 "Ussuriysk - Tumangan". Back to Moscow, these wagons are returned with the fast train No. 99 Vladivostok -Moscow. Traveling in these cars across Russia is available to everyone without restriction (with the exception of the Khasan station, located in the border zone ), entry to the territory of North Korea is available only to its citizens, organized groups of tourists and people traveling to the DPRK for work. Earlier, a train No. 17 with a Moscow- Pyongyang service operated by the North Korean Railways ran as part of the train, now this car runs as part of the Vladivostok -Moscow train No. 99/100.
On the Moscow - Ilanskaya (and partially Ilanskaya - Chita-2) section, the train goes both ways on the same schedule with the fast train No. 19/20 Moscow - Beijing - Moscow.
