Description

“The flag of the municipality“ Troitsk city ”is a rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, horizontally divided into three equal horizontal stripes - upper yellow, medium purple, lower yellow. The roof depicts three purple crosses (two and one) from the coat of arms of the city of Troitsk. "

Justification of Symbols

The flag reproduces figures from the coat of arms of the city of Troitsk three purple crosses.

The cross, as one of the oldest symbols of humanity, symbolizes the unity of opposites. The image in the flag of three crosses - the symbol of the Holy Trinity , is consonant with the name of the city of Troitsk and makes it a "vowel".

At the same time, crosses symbolize the glorious past of Troitsk, founded in 1743 at the crossroads of trade routes leading from Europe to Central Asia, India, and China, which allowed the city to become a "trading gate." The city gave the world the great fabulist I. A. Krylov , the famous lawyer F. N. Plevako , outstanding artists, writers, poets, scientists, such as: B. Ruchev , G. Tukai , I. Vandyshev, A. Fersman .

The symbolism of the strip in the flag is multifaceted: it is both a trade route and a border strip: Troitsk is an important customs point on the state border with Kazakhstan . Thus, the preservation of the historical motive in the flag of the city of Troitsk is quite justified and meets modern heraldic and legal requirements.

Purple in heraldry is a symbol of dignity, fame, honor.

Yellow color ( gold ) in heraldry is a symbol of strength, wealth, greatness, intellect and insight.
