Born in Leningrad on June 22, 1963. Parents were people who had nothing to do with the movie (mother - design engineer, father - employee of the housing system).
Movie career
I got to the cinema after a radio message saying that children were invited to the Lenfilm to replenish the actor’s card index. Serezha’s debut was the twelve-minute popular science film “The Boy and the Machine”, shot by Lennauchfilm .
In 1973, the short comedy “ Where It Is Seen, Where It Is Heard ” was released based on the story of Victor Dragunsky , where Seryozha played Denis Korablev. This film brought Seryozha fame mainly among peers, but the next film, “ Dear Boy, ” based on the play by Sergei Mikhalkov , made him famous throughout the Union, as this film became something of a domestic action movie. In 1975, he appeared twice on the cover of the magazine "Soviet Screen" [2] . Even then, an acting career began to weigh on the boy. First of all, because of fame, because he believed that the work of an actor is "a show of life."
After the release of “Where It Is Seen, Where It Heard” Seryozha was transferred from school No. 25 to school No. 345, where the film was shot. The teachers there, so as not to inspire him with any superiority, did not give the boy any indulgences and lectured for any reason [3] . Subsequently, it helped when, after “Dear Boy”, Seryozha woke up with a “star disease” for some time.
Like many child actors, his film career waned as he grew older. During the filming of his last film, “The Magic Voice of Jelsomino, ” he was already 14 years old and was in eighth grade, which is why (since the filming took place in the school year, he was hardly allowed to leave school), the question arose sharply: whether to continue to act in films, or to study. One of the arguments in favor of completing a film career was that in the films “Dear Boy” and “The Magic Voice of Jelsomino”, Krupenikov’s characters were voiced by other actors. However, after “Gelsomino” Sergey had only one screen test in Minsk for the remaining unknown film, which he did not pass, after which the invitations to the cinema were no longer received.
After the movie
In 1977, became interested in mathematics, entered the Leningrad Technological Institute of the Refrigeration Industry .
After the institute, he served as an officer in the army on the Kola Peninsula, the chief of the food service of the regiment, then worked in the Leningrad trading company Gastronom [4] .
In the 1980s he created his company "Refrigeration Service".
Doom
He died tragically on August 26, 2012: he rode a bicycle and was hit by motorcyclists at about one in the morning in Beloostrov near the first lake on the Alexander highway . He was buried on September 1 at the Sand Cemetery [5] .
