The flag of the Emanzhelinsky urban settlement of the Emanzhelinsky municipal district of the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation is an identification and legal sign serving as the official symbol of the municipality.

The flag was approved on November 20, 2002 by the resolution of the Yemanzhelinsky City Assembly of Deputies No. 215 [1] (as the flag of the municipal formation “the city of Yemanzhelinsk”) and entered into the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 1123.
In the course of the municipal reform of 2006 , the municipal unit “the city of Yemanzhelinsk” was transformed into a municipal unit of the Emanzhelinsky municipal district with its member municipalities endowed with the status of an urban settlement : Yemanzhelinskoe , Zauralskoe and Krasnogorskoe .
On August 26, 2005, by the decision of the Council of Deputies of Yemanzhelinsky urban settlement No. 14 [2] , the flag of the municipality "City of Yemanzhelinsk" was approved by the flag of the Yemanzhelinsky urban settlement.

"The flag of the city of Yemanzhelinsk represents a rectangular white panel with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, reproducing in the center a figure of the city's coat of arms: a black swan with raised wings, a yellow beak and a crown of five teeth, floating on a jagged strip of 1/4 of the cloth along bottom edge, covered with blue, bordered with yellow color, scales ”.
Symbolization Justification
The city of Emanzhelinsk arose in connection with the development of a coal deposit. Coal mining became the basis for the life of the local population, which was reflected in the flag in the form of a black swan, crowned with a golden crown, allegorically showing the fire and heat that coal gives.
Swan - a symbol of beauty, harmony and harmony.
The scaly part of the cloth symbolizes the eponymous river, on the bank of which the city is located.
Black color in heraldry symbolizes prudence, wisdom, modesty, honesty and eternity of being.
White color ( silver ) - purity, nobility, perfection, peace.
Yellow color ( gold ) - a symbol of strength, grandeur, intelligence, generosity.
Blue ( azure ) - a symbol of sublime aspirations, thinking, sincerity and virtue.
