Camerota made his debut in the World Cup in 2006, so far the best performance in it is for him 6th place in team competitions and 18th in personal competitions. The best achievement in the final standings of the World Cup for Camerota is the 50th place in the 2006-07 season.
He took part in the 2006 Olympics in Turin, where he became the 38th in the individual race.
At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, he won a silver medal in team competitions, in addition he became 36th in competitions on a normal springboard + 10 km.
During his career, he participated in two World Championships , which did not rise even in the top 30.
