Vefsnfjord ( Norwegian Vefsnfjord ) - a fjord in Helgeland , a Norland fül in Norway . Its length is about 50-60 km. The fjord begins in Tjött on the south side of the island of Alstönö and connects to the Leirfjord near Sundöy.

Several large rivers, such as Vefsna , Fusta and Trev, flow into the Vefsn fjord. These three rivers have always been rich in salmon , but now their waters are infected with the parasite .
The German ship was flooded here by British aircraft during the Second World War , which led to a large number of casualties. A memorial is located on the neighboring island.
