Biography
Born on April 27, 1927 in the village of Tuguluk, now Grachevsky District, Stavropol Territory . In 1942 he graduated from the seven-year school.
In 1943, immediately after the liberation of the Kuban from the Nazi invaders, he first got on a tractor. In 1946 he graduated from the school of agricultural mechanization. At the age of 19, he became an assistant to the foreman, and then the foreman of the tractor brigade of the Ust-Labinsky machine and tractor station . In 1958-1960 - the mechanic of the brigade, since 1960 - the foreman of the integrated brigade of the Kuban collective farm in the Ust-Labinsky district of the Krasnodar Territory . His initiative under the motto “The land of the neighbor is not a foreign land” was taken up by the whole country. In 1971 he graduated from the Slavic Agricultural College in Slavyansk-on-Kuban .
Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU in 1971-1990 (candidate in 1966-1971). Member of the Council of the Union of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 7-11th convocations (in 1966-1989) from the Krasnodar Territory. People's Deputy of the USSR in 1989-1991.
He died on March 23, 1999. He was buried [1] in the city of Ust-Labinsk, Krasnodar Territory .
