Biography
Born on October 29, 1913 in the city of Ryazhsk, now in the Ryazan region, in a working class family. Russian He graduated from 7 classes [1] .
In the Red Army since 1939. He graduated from courses of tank drivers . Member of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940 [1] .
Senior driver of the tank of the 232nd separate reconnaissance tank battalion ( 39th separate light tank brigade , 13th army , North-Western Front ) company commander, junior commander Andrei Serebryakov distinguished himself in battles in the Vyborg direction. On February 12, 1940, in a battle for the village of Kyuyurelya (now the village of Krasnoselskoye, Leningrad Region ), a tanker drove a combat vehicle eight times, suppressing firing points and destroying enemy manpower. By their actions, the tank crew created favorable conditions for the advance of the infantry unit. February 28, 1940 during a reconnaissance raid deep into the enemy’s defense in the area of Lake Kheykurila Andrei Serebryakov established the location of eight bunkers . The tank was hit, but the crew continued to fight until dark. At night, the tankers repaired the damage and returned to their unit [1] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated April 7, 1940 “for exemplary performance of command missions on the front against the Finnish White Guard and courage and heroism shown at the same time”, junior commander Andrei Mikhailovich Serebryakov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal "(No. 295) [1] .
At the end of hostilities, the tanker lived in Moscow in 1940, worked in state security agencies. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1940 [1] .
A veteran of the Great Patriotic War since 1942, commander of a tank company named after Felix Dzerzhinsky of the 475th separate tank battalion , whose KV tanks were manufactured in May 1942 at the expense of workers of the Dzerzhinsky district of Moscow [1] .
On July 20, 1942, the junior lieutenant of state security A.M.Serebryakov, along with his crew, was tasked with evacuating two wrecked tanks from the battlefield. In the evening, stealthily approaching them, the tankmen began preparatory work. However, the enemy discovered the actions of the crew of A. M. Serebryakov and opened machine-gun and mortar fire. Despite the shelling, A. M. Serebryakov decided to continue the work and successfully completed it. After the first wrecked tank was taken to shelter, the crew immediately began to evacuate the second tank, which sat in the ravine. This tank was also extended and successfully evacuated from the battlefield [2] .
On July 27, on the northwestern outskirts of Voronezh, A.M. Serebryakov, as part of a group of three tanks, was tasked with breaking through the enemy’s defenses and saddling the highway from Voronezh to the village of Podkletnoye (now a microdistrict in the Soviet district of Voronezh). During the attack, the tank A. M. Serebryakova was hit and caught fire. Junior lieutenant of state security A. M. Serebryakov decided to stay in the tank and fire, burned out in the tank [2] .
He was buried in mass grave No. 13 (Voronezh city park) [1] .

In 1967, a street in Moscow (formerly Ryazhsky passage) was named after Serebryakov. Streets in the cities of Voronezh and Ryazhsk bear his name. May 16, 2014 in Voronezh, on the facade of the house number 31 on Serebryakova Street, a memorial plaque was opened in the presence of his daughter Lyudmila Andreevna Serebryakova [4] . A bust was installed in the area of Dmitry Gorin Street, in Voronezh. [5] .
Family
Wife - Agnessa Serebryakova, during the war years lived in Ryazhsk and Moscow [6] [7] . There was a son Yuri [8] . A daughter lives in Ryazhsk - Lyudmila Andreevna [9] .
