Content
Geography
Karzhimantsky village council is located in the southeast of the Shemysheysky district of the Penza region.
The territory of the village council borders:
- in the north - with the Armievsky village council of the Shemysheysky district
- in the east - with the Buzovlevsky village council of the Lopatinsky district
- in the south - with the Kargaley village council of the Shemysheysky district,
- in the west - with the Ruskonorkinsky village council of the Shemysheysky district and the lands of the municipality of the urban settlement Shemysheyka.
History
The status and boundaries of a rural settlement are established by the Law of the Penza Region dated November 2, 2004 No. 690-ZPO “On the Borders of Municipalities of the Penza Region” [4] .
On December 22, 2010, in accordance with the Law of the Penza Region No. 1992-ZPO [5] , the territory of the abolished Machkassky Village Council was included in the village council .

Infrastructure
The structure of modern settlement is dominated by the administrative center - the village of Karzhimant. All socially significant objects are concentrated in it.
On the territory of the village council, the villages of the municipality are connected by a regional road of the 3rd category “Shemysheyka-Lopatino” and a paved access road to the village of Dubrovka-on-Uze from the regional road “Shemysheyka-Lopatino”. Karzhimantsky village council, as a result, has favorable conditions for the implementation of external relations with the regional center.
