The flag of the Oktyabrsky District is the official symbol of the municipality “ Oktyabrsky District ” of the Chelyabinsk Region of the Russian Federation .

The current flag was approved on December 30, 2002 and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 1145.

Description
“The flag of the municipality is a rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, vertically divided into two stripes - green and blue; a red triangle emerges from the center of the lower edge, filling 1/2 of the banner at the top with a white crane supporting the yellow semicircle inscribed at the base of the triangle and 1/4 of the width of the banner. ”
Justification of Symbols
The composition of the flag of the Oktyabrsky district is based on its special geographical location on the territory of the Chelyabinsk region - this is the easternmost border region of the region. All the figures of the flag have ambiguous symbols.
The division of the flag shows that the Oktyabrsky district is located at the junction of the borders with the Kurgan region - (the green part is the main color of the flag of the Kurgan region ) and Kazakhstan (the blue part is the main color of the flag of Kazakhstan ).
The area is named after the October Revolution ; Heroes of the Soviet Union live here, about 5 thousand people were awarded military awards for the victory over fascist Germany, about 4 thousand people were home front workers, awarded with medals “For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” ; in the region several thousand labor veterans. These valor of the district residents are reflected in red - a symbol of courage, dedication, beauty, fair struggle and life.
The main figure of the flag - the crane - a symbol of vigilance and devotion, personify vitality, absolute spirit and pure consciousness.
The crane conveys the amazingly beautiful nature of the region, and the rising sun, which the crane supports with outstretched wings, means that the inhabitants of the Oktyabrsky district are the first to meet the sunrise in the Chelyabinsk region, which means the onset of a new day.
The yellow semicircle - the rising sun - the source of life and creative power; the morning sun is a symbol of rebirth.
Yellow color ( gold ) in heraldry is a symbol of strength, wealth, greatness, intellect and insight.
The area is known for achievements in agricultural production - this is reflected in yellow - the color of the crop, and green - the color of fields and meadows.
Green is a symbol of spring, joy, hope, life, nature, as well as a symbol of health.
The Oktyabrsky district is the lowest, geographically located region of the region, which is shown by the overturned tip.
Blue and green colors also complement the symbolism of nature: Oktyabrsky district - the edge of lakes (among the protected areas - the healing lake Sladkoe ) and the steppes (Kocherdyk nature reserve).
Blue color ( azure ) in heraldry is a symbol of honor, glory, devotion, truth, beauty, virtue and clear sky.
