Line 6 ( French Ligne 6 ) - one of the 16 lines of the Paris metro . It forms the southern part of the metro ring, which closes the center of the French capital (line 2 forms its northern sector). Most of the way the line passes above the ground.

Timeline
- October 2, 1900 - the opening of a section between Etoile and the Trocadero (a branch of the 1st line);
- November 6, 1903 - the line continued from Trocadero to Passy, ββit was given the name 2 southern line;
- April 24, 1906 - the 2nd southern line continued from Passy to the Place d'Itali; [one]
- October 14, 1907 - the 2nd southern line, from Passy to the Place d'Itali, became part of the 5th line;
- March 1, 1909 - the opening of the 6th line between the Place d'Itali and Nacion;
- October 12, 1942 - the Etoile-Place d'Itali section became part of line 6 (the Place d'Itali-Nacion) in order to separate the aboveground subway lines from the underground lines to ensure the operation of the subway in case of damage to the aboveground sections as a result of air raids);
- 1974 - trains of the 6th line are transferred to the tire course.
Line
The length of the line is 13.665 km, of which 6.5 km (45% of the length of the line and 13 stations out of 28) are in its aerial part. She crosses the Seine twice on the subway. Line 6 together with line 2 form a ring in the center (transfer takes place at the end stations of line 6 - Etoile and Nacion). Line 6 begins at Charles de Gaulle - Etoile Station under Charles de Gaulle Square. (technically the final page is Kleber). Then line 6 continues south to the Trocadero station, where there is a transfer to line 9. Then follows a very zigzag line under Benjamin Franklin Street to Passy station, semi-underground, semi-underground. Then line 6 crosses the Seine at the Bir-Hakeim metro bridge, 230 meters long, at the station of the same name you can change to RER C. The overhead section of the 2670-meter line continues. At La Motte-Piquet-Grenelle station, you can transfer to lines 8 and 10 . On the way to the Pasteur station, the line goes underground again. Followed by a 630-meter stage to the station of Montparnasse Bienvenu.
